SULA BEAG

Sula Beag

Sula Beag is an exceptionally well-equipped and maintained motor vessel. During the winter of 2007/8 she is being completely renovated from the deck up, keeping the onboard standards high for your comfort.

She is coded to the highest standard by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency with a Class 6 Passenger Certificate. This enables us to carry up to 40 passengers in comfort.

There is comfortable seating for up to sixteen passengers on the upper deck and seating for all on the lower deck, we just rotate so that you can have the chance to help us hunt for wildlife on top deck, or rest and relax on the lower deck. The fly bridge (upper deck) provides you with an extra bit of height enabling you to spot more wildlife, whilst keeping you relaxed. In the saloon there is a range of books for your entertainment; bird guides, whale identification charts, flora and fauna, and so on to browse whilst you enjoy your complementary tea, coffee & ginger nut biscuits.

SULA MHOR

Sula Mhor

Built in 1947, Sula Mhor (originally Queen of Helford) was used as a passenger vessel on the south coast, in Falmouth. A family owned vessel, she has been well looked after. We got her at the beginning of 2006 and she has proved to be a very comfortable, seaworthy vessel.

She is coded to the highest standard by the Maritime and Coastguard Agency with a Class 6 Passenger Certificate. This enables us to carry up to 60 passengers in comfort.

There are 2 outside areas: the top deck with great all round views and plenty of space for up to 17 passengers and the forward deck which gives great low down views of the sea. The forward deck becomes extra special on those occasions when we are joined by the playful bottlenose dolphins! This area is also where those young budding skippers can watch how it's done by the professionals!! The covered area has a number of wildlife books to browse through and with hot coffee served at intervals during the trip it is a comfortable place to be during any of Scotland's brief rainy spells!
